My dad Neil wrote this little tune probably sometime in the 80s. He told me that it was intended to be in the style of music that his dad liked, i.e. old country guitar stuff. After my dad passed in 2019, I wanted to make my own version of this song, as I realized it can be a pretty neat bluesy/funk tune if slowed down and played on acoustic guitar.
So, this is my version of Dad's Song, as a belated birthday present to him.

The original (Dad's Version) is included as a bonus track, which is being published for the first time ever today.
